Hey, my name is John Slingerland. I am an extremely passionate and ambitious Web/Graphic Designer. This site is just a small sample of what I am truly capable of. Here are only a few of the projects I have worked on and a few freelance pieces.
I am incredibly ambitious and a fast learner. I'd have to say my favorite part about web design is functionality and Interactivity. I love to make things work. I love accessibility and I am really interested in making things that a user can interact with. I come from a design background and the craft of web design is very important to me. I take great care while coding everything by hand paying careful attention to web standards Valid W3C HTML/CSS and Strict XHTML.
Other than Web Design and Graphic Design, I love music. I am a musician, and I play a hand full of stringed instruments and keys. I am passionate about sound and I am always searching for new music and anything to spike my interest. It was the collaboration of the internet and music that made me want to get into Web Design in the first place. I love everything about it!
