Sac Live Concert Finals Poster

This piece was challenging and really exciting to work on. I did this for the Sac Live Music Project as part of their concert finals. They wanted to target an urban youth demographic, which was a demographic I was initially unfamiliar with. This challenge and chance to design something for a demographic outside of my own was really exciting to me. As part of my research I went to a local bookstore and grabbed various magazines of both urban subculture and things I was interested in. I did a variety of sketches and began making comps. We wanted something colorful, urban and music related.

This was a great group to be involved with. The Sac Live team is really involved with high schools and getting music programs to the youth. This is something I really believe in myself.
